What is Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is the assessment, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of neuromusculoskeletal pain and injury.
Physiotherapists are University trained practitioners who use evidence-based methods to determine the best treatment for their clients.
A Physiotherapist will use a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, education and lifestyle advice, soft tissue techniques and anti-inflammatory modalities to treat conditions.
All Physiotherapists are required to complete a minimum of four years training before becoming licensed to practice and must participate in ongoing continuing education every year.
