What is Remedial Massage?

Remedial massage therapy can be used to address specific conditions such as strains and sprains, tension headaches and tissue injuries.

It is also used to help achieve optimal health and to promote a general feeling of wellbeing, reduce tension and increase range and freedom of movement.

We also offer relaxation massage which helps to de-stress and loosen up your body, whereas a remedial massage will work on specific muscle tension or pain.

Conditions that may be eased with remedial massage include:

  • Muscle tension
  • Headaches
  • Sports injuries

What happens at my Remedial Massage consultation?

At your massage consultation, you will be asked about what you are hoping to get out of your massage, if there is injury, pain or tension that you’d like addressed and for any relevant medical information. A series of screening questions will be asked to ensure that massage is safe and suitable for you.
