Small classes, supervised strength

A rehabilitation gym attached to a clinic, run by staff who know your history. Mat classes, strength for over 60s and small-group training — capped small enough that someone is actually watching how you move.

Open to the community. Memberships, class passes and casual visits all available.

Any time Open gym Train your own program in the rehab gym after an induction. Staff on the floor during staffed hours.
Why it matters

Rehab that does not stop at the treatment room door

Most clinics finish at the point where you are given a sheet of exercises and sent home to do them. That is where the plan usually falls over — not because people are lazy, but because a printout cannot tell you that you are compensating with the wrong side.

The gym being in the same building changes that. Your physiotherapist writes the program and then you do it thirty seconds away, with someone watching. When you are ready to progress, the person progressing you has read the notes.

Questions

Studio questions

The ones reception gets asked most.

Can I use the gym without being a patient?

Yes. The studio is open to the community — memberships, class passes and casual visits are all available. Everyone does an induction first so we know your history and you know the equipment.

Do I need to be fit to start?

No. A good part of the room on any given morning is people rebuilding after surgery, managing arthritis, or getting moving again after years off. Classes are capped so the coach can actually see you.

How big are the classes?

Small. Small-group training runs four to six people with a coach. That is the whole point — if a class is big enough that nobody notices your technique, it is not rehabilitation.

Is the studio supervised by clinical staff?

Yes. Sessions are run by staff who can see your file, which means the person supervising your session knows about the shoulder you had operated on in March.
